Color: Brown

Size: 5 U.S. Gal. or 18.9 L

Works on barns, fences, new or weathered wood, concrete, and metal.

Product: Premium quality semi-gloss paint formulated especially for barns, fences, and other agricultural buildings. A 100% acrylic paint formulated especially for wood plank fences. This product offers exceptional economy and durability in a user-friendly water-based formulation. It provides excellent weather protection and is safe around valuable livestock. Can be applied directly to new, weathered or previously painted lumber with the convenience of soap and water clean up. Other applications include barns, sheds, and other farm structures.

Coverage: 300 to 350 square feet per gallon on smooth surfaces. 16 running feet of 3 or 4 rail fence on both sides per gallon. Paints approximately 50 wooden posts. Coverage will be less rough cut lumber, textured and/or porous surfaces and may require two coats for best results.

Dry Time: Dries to touch in 1/2 hour. Can be recoated in four hours.

Thinning & Clean up: If necessary thin with small amounts of water. Clean brushes, rollers, spray equipment and hands with warm soapy water.

Application: Clean surface thoroughly. Remove dust, dirt or oil by washing the surface with a non-residue all-purpose cleaner. Remove loose or peeling paint and rust with a wire brush and scraper. Pressure washing is the best overall method if available. Caulk cracks and crevices around windows, doors and trim. For unpainted surfaces, two coats are recommended. On rusty metal areas, spot-prime with a rust inhibitive primer. Stir paint thoroughly before applying. Only paint when the air and surface temperatures are above 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Do not paint in extremely damp weather or when rain is threatening.

Storage & Disposal: Keep container closed when not in use. In the case of spillage, absorb with an inert material. Dispose of contaminated absorbent, container and/or unused contents in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. DO NOT FREEZE.

Note: Due to the nature of Fir wood, we do not recommend using RAMM paint for it. We suggest staining Fir, rather than painting it. Allow posts to dry 1 to 2 months if posts are wet. If painting white, allow 3 months if posts are wet.
